To the dissapointment of the group, there were ZERO burpees, or merkins, or bells, or blocks, or Hoodie's.
Speed Work sucks…but it's a true FKT event. And as it happens the #BaseCamp (Summit Coffee) parking lot is almost a perfect 0.25 mile lap.
The goal was 10X400's with a 400m slow recovery lap. In total if you got in all 10 it was around 5.5 miles. Some guys like FRODO and SWING STATE I believe got in 12 (or 13)…I just know they passed me a few times. I was so far behind I'm not even sure who won.
Next time I promise at least 1 burpee.
FNG1 – SONIC (not on)
FNG2 – Newly named SCRUNCHIE – Jason Brett whose last name sounded like "beret" and Lego quickly came up with Scrunchie. Much better than Fruit Cake which was Option 2.
