I noticed halfway through yesterday that nobody had signed up to Q Java.  So I figured that would be the best way to make sure I got out of the fartsack was to sign up to Q AND I can run the route I want and do the exercises I want.

As I pulled into the parking garage I was the only car there for several minutes.  Since it was 16 degrees outside I was starting to wonder if I would be running solo, or just skipping the run and getting coffee.  Well Stromboli and Possum both came pulling in so I knew I would have to run.  Believe it or not, I think Lonestar pulled in right at 5:29, a full 2 minutes early!  

We headed out on our adventure and before we could get to the Walgreens parking lot Cubicle had quietly joined us. 

The route planned was running up 73, stopping at the fountain, down to Elevation Church and then on to Robbins Park.  To make it simple we just returned back the same way.  

We made 5 stops along the way and did merkins, some type of leg exercise, and LBCs.  We finished with 100 merkins and 100 LBCs.  

Moleskin:

Two things were quickly noted.  First, Caboose posted in their preblast they were converging with Java.  However, none of the Caboose regulars showed up.  Maybe too cold for them?  Or just scared to run with a Thug?  

Second, everyone quickly noted the absence of Airstream.  Cubicle even went back to read his texts from yesterday to see if he had a HC and if Airstream pulled a Callahan.  There was also discussion if he went to Fission instead.  So out of concern several of us texted him from coffee to check in on him.  Thus, he smartsacked it this morning to give his knee a break. 

We had 100% attendance for coffee and even had Einstein join us from IR.
