Let's address the title of the workout right out of the gate. One may read it and think…..man that must have been an incredibly hard workout talking about people going down during the workout. The workout wasn't bad, but it wasn't the type to take anyone down (as you'll read below). Rather, this comment was an immediate and violent reaction to Hambone's a$$ at the end of the workout. With that out of the way, 5 showed mainly on foot for Cobalt this morning for a 6am holiday start.
Warm-up
15 X SSH IC, 10 X Merkins OYO, 10 Windmills IC, 10 Merkins OYO, 10 Cherry Pickers IC, 10 Merkins OYO
Thang
Mosey up to the main road (OMD) from clubhouse.
Overlook Christmas light tour: run to the back of the hood from clubhouse stopping at each house with Christmas lights up and alternate between 10 merkins and 15 LBC's.
Merkin Mile: run to clubhouse from back of hood stopping every 1/4 mile for 25 merkins.
Reverse Burp & Merk: drop to down burpee position, 10 merkins, finish burpee / drop to down burpee position, 9 merkins, finish burpee…………you get it….down to 1 merkin on the down. Reverse was a Surf and Turf request and worked out pretty well although we were interrupted by Hambone's a$$ mid-flight.
~2.4 miles and a ton of merkins (although there was some modification with some of the Pax opting for LBM's)

- Extra credit to 4 of the 5 this morning for running to and from the workout. Q clipped the 1,000 mile mark for the year on the way over with Pinky. Very technical tracking of mileage involved with rock-solid records ready for any level of audit.
- Surf had some alarm clock struggles but it all worked out perfectly
- Congrats to Hambone for the recently announced engagement. Wedding details unclear at this point but his fiance is all over the planning. Hambone asked the Pax to put some pressure on Natty for a revised version of Ode to Hambone……what say you Natty???
