The Thang

Circuit 1: The Octopus

Each path from the water fountain (8) is a station with a specific exercise. The goal is to complete the exercise at the end of the path, then return to the gazebo for a core exercise before moving to the next path.

-Run to the end of Path 1, do 20 Merkins, run back to the fountain for 20 LBCs

-Run to the end of Path 2, do 20 Squat Jumps, run back to the fountain for 20 American Hammers

-Run to the end of Path 3, do 20 Plank jacks, run back to the fountain for 20 Low Flutter.

-Run to the end of Path 4, do 20 Mountain Climbers, run back to the fountain for 20 WWIIS.

-Run to the end of Path 5, do 20 Reverse Lunges (10 per leg), run back to the fountain for 20 Freddy Mercury.

-Run to the end of Path 6, do 20 Carolina Dry Docks, 20 Dot the i reverse LBC

-Run to the end of Path 7, do 20 deep/slow squats, run back to the fountain for 20 pillow talks (10 each side)

-Bear Crawl to the end of Path 8, do 20 Shoulder Touch Merkins (10 each side), Bear Crawl back for 20 Pretzel crunch or Jacknife LBC (10 each leg).

 

Circuit 2: Octopus Merkins

-Take each path from the fountain (8) and do 5 merkins at the end and beginning of each leg before moseying to the next leg (beginning and end)= 80 Merkins.

Mosey from the fountain to the corner of the parking lot to the block stash

 

Circuit 3: Blockarama

-Curl x20 (40)

-Overhead press x20 (40)

-Bent-over row x20 (40)

-Skull crushers x20 (40)

-Squats x20 (40)

-8 count Burners x10 (20)

On your 6 (IC):

-Chest press x20 (40)

-Low flutter w/ block

Blocks up and Mosey all the way down the parking lot to the gym.

 

Circuit 4: The Great Wall of St Mark

-Grab a wall: Praying Mantis x20 (40)

-Grab a curb: Muhammad Ali/Rocky Balboa x50 (100)

Mosey back to base camp

 

Recover, Recover

Moleskin:

YHC decided to rinse and repeat an Octopus workout he did recently since the Pax makeup was different and no one had a repeato. It’s like not using leftover turkey after Thanksgiving to make infinite turkey sandwiches. Why waste it? So that’s what we did. It was great seeing Push Pop who made everything look easy today. Dude is a beast. He isn’t in the system for some reason so he’s captured as FNG-1. Amen was a few minutes late but came in like Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights. “If you ain’t first, you’re last.” Amen pushed hard today. Thanks to POS for lending YHC the keys to this great AO. He got it done today as well. POS needs some Q’s so please sign up fellas. It’s always great to post with F3 brothers in the gloom.
