IPC Week 1 at Bailey Road Park – bring on the burpee relief


It was a heck of a crowd this morning at BRP for Week 1 of the Iron Pax Challenge. 

Thang: brief warm-up exercises to get the heart pumping and the hamstrings warmed-up before the challenge began.

3 burpees at the beginning and at the top of every minute until finished.

50 release release merkins, 100 leg raises, 150 2 scoop jump squats, 200 big boy situps, 250 lunges (easy count)

Moleskin:

  1. we got some 'hurry it up' encouragement (?) calls from the Halflife… and i think Beetle was even more motivated when they said he was dead to them now.
  2. About 5 of the pax present did the murph yesterday. Dang… that was either courageous or cavalier. I'll let you decide
  3. tclaps, Geek, for bringing the music
  4. the EMOM timer head fakes were just for you, Waffle.
  5. Primo wisened up and stayed away from the coffee. Good plan, brother. 
  6. M-16 kept his momentum going and took off right after he finished for church. Show off 😉
