AO

8 PAX joined YHC this morning for the crossing of Sam Furr at Java. We gathered, complained about how cold it still is and waited for our beloved MQ. At exactly 5:31 the action started, Soprano did not take a shot at YHC until 5:32, new record.

Warmarama on the Field Turf:

  • SSH x 15 IC
  • Seal Jacks x 10 IC (for our brothers who cannot raise the arms above their heads, you know who you are.)
  • IST x 10 IC
  • Prisoner Squats x 10 IC
  • Mountain Climbers x 10 IC
  • Peter Parkers called out by Q and the Q proceeded to do Parker Peters, do as Q does and not as Q says x 10IC
  • Long Snappers x 10 IC
  • Groin Stretch Left/Right x 2/5 second hold
  • Lateral Butt Kicks (renamed by Hippie Lollipop Guild) x 10 IC
  • Pogo’s Double and Single leg……..

Off to cross Sam Furr, everyone held hands and waited for the crossing guard to wave us across.

First destination Club House off Devonshire, many PAX concerned about the length of our first push, told them they could make a full mile without passing out, fortunately everyone made it. Omega, Soprano, Primo and No Rope pushed a great first pace.

  • Incline Mericans x 20 IC
  • Bulgarian squats x 10 IC
  • Apollo Ono’s x 10 IC

Second destination bottom of Brentfield Hill, gathered at bottom.

  • Mericans x 15 IC
  • Body weight squat x 10 IC
  • Backwards (posterior) lunge x 1o IC

Up Brentfield Hill to our third destination, always further then you think. Primo pushed us all up the Hill. Gathered at top at BCP.

  • Mericans x 10 IC
  • Body weight squat x 10 IC

Final destination back to launch. YHC brought my smaller red bands to do leg work but time was closing in on us so we circled up on the Field Turf. PAX complained about possible sanitation of the turf, told them it was not dirtier then the street we just laid on.

  • Elbow Plank center, left and right x 2 until YHC heard PAX grumble!!!
  • Mobility

Recover…..Primo noticed we still had 45 seconds so 3 burpees called out, done…..recover/recover.

Everyone did a great job, we pushed the distance a little this morning and did a little over a 5K. Frogger, Lone Star, Das Boot pushed themselves up the hill and maintained a good pace throughout. It was a walk in the park for Die Hard and I appreciate him pushing everyone.

Moleskin:

Talked about how special Tuesday was, for that many men to gather at 5:30am to support a fellow brother is special, that is what makes F3. Its a battle everyday, keep up the fight, there is strength within our group. Encouraged everyone to be better; husbands, sons, brothers, fathers and friends! Give Das Boot a lot of credit for leaving the familiar confines of Davidson AO’s and joining us in the South.

St. Michael the Archangel defend us in battle!

If God is for us, who can be against us? St.P
