It Takes a Village

Here's you skinny backblast.

There was some confusion regaridng the Q.  When Omega said he had the Q for this week – after last week's General – we thought that meant he would be there.  We made a bad assumption.

It was rainy and 62 degreees when we gathered in the parking lot.

We were 6 strong, but we were Q-less.  Without hesitation, Moses took the lead – and delivered a fine beatdown.  Teasing us all a bit – he started things under the roof of the concession stand – but by the time we were done, we had a made a clockwise lap around The General proper.  Stopping at the rock pile, at the end of the street and at the wall before we made it back to the concession stand.

A few notes:

– Only Moses can do Tippy Birds the way they are supposed to be done

– Jazzy was was dressed as if it was 22 degrees, not 62 degrees.  He said it was to avoid the rain – but I have to imagine things were pretty moist under those layers.

– We did several partner exercises and altered the form just a little on a few things.  Changing things up is good for a lot of reasons.  It keeps things interesting and it makes you focus on your form.

– Post workout – some went to Toby Talks in Davidson and some went to a coffeteria convergence at Starbucks with the 4-bangers and the Emmaus crew.

Peace,

Holiday
