It’s a Celebration Rick James!!!

On a somewhat brisk but relatively nice day for February, several PAX gather to celebrate ~1 year of F3 for YHC.  We even had the pleasure of welcoming FNG Jamie.

Several PAX ran, 2 had to leave early and 2 rucked in prep for the heavy

Let's get down to it…

We circled for the pledge led by the forever young Lear.  Always a pleasure to honor our country with this simple gesture which is even greater when led by RaceCity's national treasure.

We moseyed around the lot for some warmups; butt kickers, high knees, and Karaoke.

We circled up for the Warmup:

SSH, CP, IST, Windmill, Mericans x 10 or 15 or something like that.

Moseyed to the pull-up bars where the PAX was asked to pick a partner, size didn't matter (it totally does…).  Partner 1 was instructed to perform 10 pull-ups while partner 2 bunny hopped up the stairs, single stair.  At this point Rent-A-Cop suggested a bear-crawl to the stairs, YHC thought this was a great idea, PAX did not.  Partner 1 would plank while he waited for partner 2.  Round 2 was 10 chin-ups for partner 1 while partner 2 2 stair bunny hopped up the stairs.

At the completion of round 2, the PAX was taken to the baseball field where they were introduced to F3 baseball.  Pax was split up into equal groups on home plate, 1st base, 2nd base, and 3rd base.  Homeplate was instructed to do 15 burpees, 1st base AMRAP Squats, 2nd base AMRAP 'Mericans, 3rd base AMRAP LBCs.  As each PAX member finished their 15 burpees, they relieved a PAX member on1st, that member relieved a member on 2ndand so on.  This continued until everyone had visited every base.

We then moseyed to the bowels of RaceCity, the big hill.  Again the PAX was asked to find a partner of any size.  The goal was 200 'Mericans between the partners.  P1 would AMRAP 'Mericans while P2 made his way to the top of the hill by any of the following means; bear crawl, quadraphelia, or crab walk.  The alternative option was to run but came with a 5 burpee penalty at the top.

The PAX was then asked to acquire a Cupcake sized rock.  Some took it a little far…..other chose wisely.  The following were performed x10; overhead press, squats, curls, skull crushers.  A little mind game rock shuffle and then 10 more shoulder presses for good measure.

The PAX then mosey over to one of the 3 "crack" houses at the AO for some dips and movie trivia.  After the dips, the PAX preachers chaired until the following question was answered correctly; "What is the best Swayze movie?"  Someone could not hold back their excitement and blurted out Dirty Dancing.  I guess while under the stress of the preacher's chair your inner self shines through.  Very shortly after Brushless came through with the correct answer, Roadhouse!!!  The PAX then planked until the following question could be answered correctly; what is the best Stallone movie?"  Brushless was correct again and quick to the trigger, Over The Top!!!!

Pax then moseyed to the lot for some Mary.  We started with the standard LBC x40, Low Flutter x20, Mason Twist x10.  YHC then had to retrieve his phone as he was afraid of missing a PAX member during COT.  Crack took over for some box cutters and then we did something else that I forgot.

END

I cannot express what F3 has done for my life.  I one year I have turned my health around, quit smoking, completed the BRR, started rucking and have friends that feel a strong connection to that filled a pretty deep hole in my life.  I am thankful and humbled.  Thank you to each and every one of you.
