The Thang
A Burn Bootcamp Instructor friend of mine divulged the fitness test required to be a Burn Bootcamp Instructor. Looked easy. I bet we could do it twice.
- 25X Double Unders (we used an imaginary jump rope)
- 15X Pull Ups (without pause)
- 50X Merkins (without pause)
- 50X Jump Squats
- 50X Burpees
- 1/2 mile run
- Do all of this in under 15 minutes
All PAX completed in 12.5 – 14 minutes with Firestone and Enron leading the pack.
Well shoot, so much time left. Do it again! Except start with burpees and work your way up.
Totals: 50X Double Unders, 30X Pulls Ups, 100X Merkins, 100X Jump Squats, 100X Burpees, 1/2 mile run…all in under half an hour.

- Enron killed it. He just did the Vern yesterday too!
- Firestone was out front. Respect!
- Great to see Master Po again. He has a 2 month old that he had been taking care of since 4am and he still came out. No excuses. Strong!
- Happy lost count so probably ended up doing more reps than required.
- 66 said he was fat and lazy. FALSE. Not possible if you come out at 0530 to crush this workout.
- Enron blew his load ogling Firestone and Happy's twin jeeps.
