8 men ventured into the cool wet morning for some 5K action with pain stations. It was 43 degrees and slightly raining.
Here is what happened:
Mosey across the street to the Birkdale golf parking lot for warmarama.
Side straddle hops, imperial storm troopers, windmill
Run to the Birkdale pool parking lot. Merkins and then squats
Run to the 3rd teebox. Wide merkins, lunges
Run back and past the Birkdale pool to the cart path. Diamond merkins, slow squat.
Run down the dark, windy, hilly cart path to the club house. Merkins, and little baby crunches (found some dry area)
Run back to home base! Finished with some mobility time.
T Claps to Callahan and Riverboat for doing a 2 mile standard before Java!
Lonestar confusing everyone by arriving a minute early!!
Callahan was difficult after that though, declaring he needed to stay dry…..
