Unseasonable chilly weather brought 11 PAX out in the gloom for a strength focused beatdown, including Cousin Eddie’s double-down with a 3 mile standard.
Cally invited YHC for a brief 1/2 mile warm up around the parking lot prior to the beatdown-thx Cally enjoyed catching up and chatting about happenings at UNC
The Thang
Warma-a-Rama at the far corner parking lot with SSH, Toy Soldiers, Windmill, Long Snappers, Plank Jacks and Slow Merkins
Mosey Towards Horseshoe starting point rock pile.
Rock Curls x 12 IC
Shoulder Presses x 12 IC
Bent Over Rows x 12 IC
Dips in guardrails x 12 IC
Incline Merkins x 12 IC
repeat above 3 Times
PAX would do 1/2 of horseshoe loop, stopping at culdesac in plank position until all PAX were accounted for.
PAX would complete the horseshoe loop stopping at the end and perform Rocky Balboa’s and Mountain Climbers on the curb.
mosey to Cornelius Fire Station for Pledge of Allegiance and a mobility moment which lured Jazzhands into a subpar moan while in pigeon. YHC realized he was just being quiet so that none of the firemen inside the station would be awakened by the R-rated (arguably PG-13) moans of Jazzy!
Mosey to side of Harris Teeter for people’s chair, praying mantis and calf raises.
Mosey back to starting point for 3 minutes of MARY.

Great work by every PAX this morning as YHC always considers PAINinsula a top-notch AO with a solid group of men who continue to spur one another on!
Thanks to Cally for closing us in prayer.
Please see upcoming 3rd F opportunities in links below which includes 2 Habitat Home Rebuild opportunities on 4/15 and 5/6 and the Annual Curbside cleanup in Smithville on 5/6. Sound off in comments if you can help in any of these worthy causes!
Always grateful for the opportunity to lead in the gloom and couldn’t think of a better way to start the day!
Humbly in Christ
