Hey Y'all,
I signed up for the Q at Isotope (BRP) for the Sat. after the BRR. My thought is simple. Jolly Ball is fun and with so many PAX running the week before I thought it would be a fun break after all the training.
My Plan is this, try to get at least 6 teams of 7 players. As this game evolves it is hard to figure out what the perfect number of players are. Not knowing what other activities that could be at that location on that day, I am thinking of splitting the soccer field in to 3 fields and playing sideline to sideline.
This is not a tournament. I want it to be competitive fun but there are no refs and I don't want it to get competitive were guys might get upset/mad at bad calls or losing. That is not the spirit of this game for us.
If we stick to the 1-hour Sat. workout time, then we can squeeze in 3 x 20 min games. That should be plenty of running and fitness.
I need team captains to recruit a team. Who is going to man up?? Come up with a fun team name (if you can).. I ask that as the teams are created you post them on this PB with Captain/Team Name/Players. I would like to know before the 15th what to expect. If I am the only person there, then I will be sad.
If you want to be super cool and get team shirts you are awesome, but the same color would be great. Or just shirts and skins.
If anyone wants to play more after 8am, then we can keep playing for anyone that wants to play.
We can head to a coffee house for F2 or even hit D9 or something like that. If we have a big group I need to give that location a heads up that we are coming and be open if they are not (D9).
