Journey through the Mighty Jungle (Under COVID Restrictions)


We opened our COVID – free journey through the jungle with a slow mosey around the parking lot to the pull-up bars.  There we warmed up with all exercises in multiples of 6 all in cadence to reflect our social distancing space:

  • 18x side straddle hops
  • 12x Imperial Storm Trooper
  • 12x Toy Soldier
  • 12x Windmill
  • 12x Moutain Climbers
  • 12x Merkins

We grabbed blocks and continued our social distancing workout with:

  • 6x 8-count man makers
  • 12x low curls
  • 12x high curls
  • 12x chest presses
  • 12x shoulder presses
  • 12x laying skull crushers

From there, we slow moseyed to the stairs behind the church and did:

  • 6 squats
  • high knees up the stairs
  • 2 burpees
  • sprint down
  • 4 squats
  • high knees up the stairs
  • 4 burpees
  • sprint down
  • 2 squats
  • high knees up the stairs
  • 6 burpees

And then we repeated.  And then we threepeatoed.

With evevery, especially Toxic, already complaining, we stopped at the turn about for a mobility moment or 5.

Then to the hill of death where we did:

  • 6 jump lunges per leg
  • quadraphiliaed up the hill
  • 2 burpees
  • 4 jump lunges per leg
  • quadraphiliaed up the hill
  • 4 burpees
  • 2 jump lunges per leg
  • quadraphiliaed up the hill
  • 6 burpees

And then we gave everyone a break and only repeated once.

Mosey to the school building for people's chair, balls to the wall, and muhammad ali's left everyone pretty tired.  And then we did a round of Mary from everyone.

990 active calories for me and 1.8 miles covered.
