Disclaimer – I don't let the facts get in the way of my story…my story, to which you are welcome. Enjoy.

10 pax warmed up before the jug-a-lug with 2.5-3.5 miles of running through the streets of Birkdale. Well done, men!  Callahan and Macbeth taught Outlaw a valuable lesson.  If you're not early, you're late.  They wait for no man…and certainly not an Outlaw.  This could be the Outlaw's own medicine (not waiting) coming back to him.

22 pax arrived expecting Gnarly Goat to repeatedly bleat 1-2-3 unintelligibly while leading the pax through an alternating regimin of hoisting 8 pound jugs and merkins on a 5 minute timer.  They got none of what they expected… 'cause I ain't the Goat!  As Waffle House silently rolled in on battery power at 5:30:03, we moseyed to the field for…

Warmorama with SSH, Perkins (perfect merkins), windmills, slow squats with jugs, isolation curls with jugs…

…which quickly transitioned into a modified Dora with the partner running (3 times forward, 1 time backward) to the other end of the field and back: 100 overhead presses, 150 squats, 200 overhead presses, 250 curls.  Mixed in were some merkins (regular, diamond, crucifix – to keep the pax from full mutiny) and planks (right hand high with jug…left hand high with jug).

After a modified cack-a-lacka choo-choo tunnel, through which we passed the jugs underneath us while in plank position, we ended up on the other side of the field near the crushed cinder blocks under the transmission line and Auto took over.  For the next 10 minutes we gathered cinder block fragments and transported them to the trash bins at the front of the clubhouse.

We wrapped up with some jug-a-lug Mary, including Crazy Ivan and low flutter with chest press.

Lego reverently closed CoT. Thank you.

Moleskine:

T-Claps to Cammando – our war baby.  Keep up the great work, brother!  I'm looking forward to your first Q.  And, T-claps to Stapler for getting him to the workouts…or is it the other way around? Not sure, but happy to see y'all among the pax.

The pax of Arnies Army is anxiously awaiting the raincheck Gnarly Goat is sure to offer when he's fully recovered.

2 Boston Marathoners were among the pax this morning, Gray Ghost and Perrier were feeling the effects of the marathon during the squats.

T-Claps to Gray Ghost v2.x (Abby) for having the patience to pace the Professor in the 8k on Saturday morning.  She probably could have won the race…self-sacrifice!

Auto (and others?) were feeling the physical effects of the Double Down from Friday night into Saturday morning's Christina Latini Operation Sweet Tooth 8k run & 2 mile walk.  Well done, brother.

The Force took 2 red pills this morning…one for the workout and one for the water jugs he pulled from the pantry that were 1.5 times the size of our gallon jugs.  Great planning, Force!  He's such a Show Off.

The Force wasn't to be outdone by Uncle Rico and Macbeth, who both showed up with full propane gas tanks to curl, press, and squat.

And finally, we didn't know until Mary, but Toxic also showed up with a full gas tank!  We're so proud of you!  He also brought containers of anti-freeze rather than water jugs, lest anyone forget his name.

T-Claps to Mayhem, Frogger, Lego, DonHo and others who represented Speed For Need on Saturday morning. We all received the call to join White Lightening and the Spruce Pine pax in May for the Run For Holland race. Aye!!

I think I can speak for all of us who participated, but we were feeling the 2nd and 3rd F effects of the OST event on Saturday morning at St. Mark church and Olive's strong example and speech.

Thanks for letting me lead today!
