20 hard-chargers sallied forth on a brisk winter day for the mightyjungle boogie.  Here be THE THANG:

It's 0659 hours.  Yes, it's one minute early, but if you're not early you're late.  Time, tide and formation wait for no man.  Front leaning rest for muster, instruction and inspection.  With all present and accounted for, we launched with (x=cadence)

15 x 'mericans (repeato every 6 mins throughout the boogie for a total of 300.   Aye.)

Bear crawl 60 yards to the tire.  Commence flipping. Every man flip that tire 5 times with pax bear crawling, Frankenstein walking, lunge walking along until all have completed flips.

Now CoP (we did some stuff in CoP.  Not sure what all we did in CoP, but I do recall SSH x 30.

Next up let's do some work on the bars.  5 pull-ups, 5 chin-ups, 5 commando ups, 5 knee ups.  Now let's streth it out with some stretchy pigeon exercises.  REPEATO.  Note:  This upper-body station is where Schneider injured his quadricep… figure that one out.  Prayers out for Schneider who was clearly in severe discomfort after rupturing his quad tendon.

Now let's mosey to the back wall for some back-n-forth wall-ups with an air-squat ascending ladder incorporated up to 10 squats.  Hoo boy.  More stretchy stretch.

Now let's ambulate on over to the block party.

10 x upright block row things

Partner up:  Partner A does block farmer carry 100 yards while partner B does Mary.  Flapjack.

Everyone grab a block. Mosey to grass for "Block Webb-amid" in a 1:4 ratio up to 4:16 and back down.  Hoo boy.

Zamperini block walk

Mosey to retrieve tire, commence tire flips back to launch point… at which point a mutiny broke out.

8 times 40 yard dash in an attempt to squash mutiny.

Ye Olde Moleskine:

1.  "A" for effort award goes to Outlaw.  During the pre-workout gathering he lobbied hard for mercy on the pax, pointing out that this has been a brutal week with a stout Man-maker Monday, The Vern, Olive on a brutal sentimental Q-versary and birthday tour, etc.  YHC took his wise counsel into consideration…  For .5 seconds.

2.  Metallica wonders if we shouldn't also come down the wall/squat ladder.  That's a good idea Metallica.  Next time we do it.

3.  Speaking of pyramids… Omaha wonders about what we ought to do at the "top" of a Block Webb-amid.  Do you repeat the top level before coming down?  Outlaw then accuses him of going to Michigan for even considering such a thing.

4.  Props to Blackbeard for a strong double-down.  Prayers up for his family as his 2.3 goes in for a serious surgery this Tuesday.  Aye.

4.  Schneider went down hard.  He tore his quadricep during a pull-up festival!  Something tells me that one will put him in the running for the Fenway Award at year's end.  Seriously, a lot of prayers went up for our favorite maintenance man.  We all wish you a speed recovery sir!!!  Recovery and Stretch Armstrong?  Let us know if we can do anything in the meantime.

5. What a morning!  Always a pleasure to be out with such a strong group.  #ISI
