Junkyard dawgs meet Sanford and Son

YHC, back from a family vacay had to dust off his cadence skills for a return to the Brickyard at Trackscan.  Expectations were low as usual.  YHC knew the pax suspected we’d be repeating “Cupcake’s One Nut Batter Ladder Jett Hill Drill” so he slipped them a mickey.

The Thangy-dangy

The pre-blast said – “I was planning some junk”.  Interpreted as an indication of YHC’s half-hearted effort .  Little did the paxies know it was an ominous hint.

YHC assembled a hidden junkyard to include:

  • A 3 ½ foot creepy girl, ex-girlfriend of bigmean

  • Planter full of dirt and dead plant (thanks M.)

  • Heavy punching bag

  • Patio umbrella stand

  • Tupperware with 50 lbs sand

  • 40 lbs sand bag

  • Large log (Cupcake’s current girlfiriend)

  • Sledge hammer

  • Backpack with 45 lbs

  • Crate full o’ bricks

Weights ranged from about 25 lbs to 80 or so.

Pax paired off – one team of two would run to junkyard, grab one item and bring back to Cupcake’s sweet ride in the parking lot and load it up.  Meanwhile remaining pax would do one exercise (about 3 mins) until they returned – preferably to exhaustion or until complaining became overwhelming.  Repeat steps until all items retrieved from junkyard.  Exercises by round:

  • Mericans

  • LBC’s

  • Drydocks

  • Little Man in Woods

  • Burpees

  • Merican Crawl

  • Preacher Chair

  • Balls to Wall

  • Flutters

  • Squats

Afterwards with truck loaded up with crap, pax was nice enough to push truck back to AO saving Cupcake on gas.

Happy birthday to TickTock!  Solid for 52!  He’s developed an algorithmic equation that imports vectors from several different satellites and nano-thermonuclear algebra that can predict the exact date of his birthday next year.   He wrote it with a pen that doubles as a lethal weapon.  I love him!

BRR’s are looking good!  Lots of running and sweating going on.  Fr. Santiago must be proud.

Chief told be between my tan and veins I looked good.  He seemed dejected when I told him I was married.

Lots of good stuff going on – picnic at Crack’s 04/16, details pending.  Event at Senator’s church Saturday, Deepend’s church needs help moving mulch.  HDHH at Sportpage tomorrow night.

You guys are the best.  Wouldn’t trade this pain and abuse for anything.  Life is better as a result.  Make sure we spread it.
