King of the Mountain

Started out like any other workout, warm up at the AO (the Summers Walk clubhouse) with some side straddle hops, merkins, & Peter Parker.  Then the gradual mosey over to the east side of da hood to Silas Place Dr.  Did a stretch of bear crawl and lunges to make sure everyone was warm.  That’s when all 4 wheels fell off.  Methane’s idea of King of the Mountain was explained.  It’s kind of a reverse Bone Saw:  15 W’s then up the hill of Silas Place to the peak of the hill for 5 burpees.  Then down the backside of the hill and directly into low flutter till all PAXs were back together where we all did a 10 count in cadence together.  Then guess what???  Repeat-o for an even 6 King of the Mountain segments.  Then took a mosey tour around da hood, stopping for a few pain stations along the way back to the club house for a round of name your favorite Mary.  Capped off the workout with some heal raises, COT, and prayers.  All in, 7 PAX covered approx 2.5 miles and a gut full of Mary.  

Also present was Meatball.  Had special appearances by Stout and Kwame to visit our little slice of heaven.  

Thoughts and prayers were offered up for Kwame and his family as they relo to Nashville (you will be missed brother) and for all those diagnosed with or related to someone with Autism. Acceptance, understanding, and patience is prayed for, to all folks affected by Autism, during Autism Awareness Month.
