Laboring Through The Monster Mile


After being stuffed full of 2nd F in the last week or so, a call was made at the cookout that Usain hosted to have the Labor Day workout at our regular location, but we started at 7am.  Geppetto was chasing ladies in Asheville (per his custom) and he decided to try his luck one more evening, so I took the keys to the Monster Mile and it went something like this.

Chicken Little runs around the building a little late to join us.  

5 burpees.  The Pax assumed these were penalty, but in fact they were the beginning of our first round of exercises.

Partner Up:
Partner 1 runs a lap around the car rider lot, partner 2 does mericans till he returns.

Partner 1 runs a lap around the car rider lot, partner 2 does mary catherines till he returns.

Partner 1 runs a lap around the car rider lot, partner 2 does slow deep squats till he returns.

Moleskine:
1.  I was thrilled to have the turnout we had at the beginnign of the workout.  Then a black truck slowly pulls in and parks.  Could it be?  YES, BFO has returned after a long hiatus.  Welcome back, and I hope your recovery continues.
2.  The Senator made it to a Monday workout today as well.  Great to have you there.  Will the streak start again?
3.  We learned that today was Soul Glo's first Monday.  Outstanding.  
4.  Prayers for many guys going through tough times.  Reach out if you know about it.  If not, offer a prayer.  
5.  LOTS of talk and excitement surrounding the 6th annual Race City Beach Trip on November 8-10.  Mark your calendars now.  This is the BEST 2nd F of the year.  
6.  Geppetto is rumored to be leading the Rock tomorrow.  I'll have a back up workout planned in the event he bails again.  (Eye roll)
