Lots of Hoses and Runny Noses

A full dozen (12) braved the arctic blast to join forces in an ELHS-Mustang & SVU convergence. Accuweather had 16 on the dial with a real feel of 22 degrees. TClaps to Vortex and Cheetah for getting some pre-work in, and to Nittany and Frisbee working in some extra credit. Due to some light heckles from the SVU PAX, which stated Mustang doesn't work out in the cold, or actually "workout" YHC decided to bring a little pain.

Reflection

Stephen Covey “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”

There are people who have character strength but they lack communication skills, and that undoubtedly affects the quality of relationship as well. But the effects are still secondary.

“What we are communicates far more eloquently than anything we say or do. We all know it. There are people we trust absolutely because we know their character. Whether they’re eloquent or not, whether they have the human relations techniques or not, we trust them, and we work successfully with them.”

Romans 5:3-5 – “More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Honor to pray given to our War-Daddy Sonar! TClaps Sir, honored to run beside you on our journey to become stronger men. GO NAVY! Beat Army!

Moleskin:

Q got some chatter at the end, due to forgetting about water bottles. Once we returned the water was frozen, apologies.

Many comments about carrying hoses around all morning. Probably much more if Skipper had been with the group; however, he would have wanted to carry them all.

Tug-o-war seemed to be a nice change. On the frozen grass, it offered a unique challenge, and exerted a lot of up-front effort.

Q tripped over his own feet on the mosey back to LP. YHC was checking back for the six, and counting the PAX, he feet had other plans.

A lot of work today 200s of anything is not fun, with teams of three most PAX completed 65 of each item. TClaps to C# for bringing out hoses.

Hopefully, this will put to rest any future Wustang comments, if not YHC will not scale back on his next Q.

Fantastic to see everyone this morning, TClaps to everyone for braving the cold air to get a little stronger today.

Prayers for all of our PAX on IR, or that were unable to come out. Additionally, prayers for those that are on the fence for returning, or simply looked at the weather and made the decision to not post.

Always grateful to lead!
