Drizzle on the drive in to the AO. What will happen? The morning was prime for a #coffeecard play. YHC sees Drebin in the lot, then Mulligan shows up and YHC knows the #coffeecard is off the table and the game is on.
0530: 2 minute warning for anticipated pax
0532: AM-PM rolls in as he does
Mosey to Carrington Ridge neighborhood and circle up for some common warmorama fare

That thang we do:
A classic BEP Q is to run the long hill at Carrington Ridge in suicide fashion at each crossroad, returning to the bottom for a painstation. YHC wanted to try it in reverse. And we did. Hitting each crossroad on the way down and returning to the top of the hill and doing 10 merkins.
Mosey back to the AO and circle up.
All in all we got 3.75 miles and 40 merkins
COT happened. AM-PM took us out.
Moleskin:
- Ultraman had the Q but is working through some foot issues so YHC took the con. ** Look out for the comeback Q from Ultra as it will be a good one
- The Carrington Ridge hill suicides hit different in reverse. The 4 crossroads are all in the lower half of the half-mile hill, leading to a longer distance overall.
- Why 40 merkins? The M read an article of a Harvard Medical School study that found that men who do 40 “pushups” a day reduce their risk of cardiac disease by >60%.
- Today was silent assassin vengeance day. YHC baited Mulligan for 3 1/2 suicides and took him on the final dash. Why? Because Mulligan passed YHC in mile 12 of the Huntersville Half. While I was gassed, Mulligan looked like he was warming up. So I got him here. You gotta take your wins when you can, even if unbeknownst to the other party. <inserts sly emoji icon>
- AM-PM brought it today. He kept up with Drebin….and as those of you who frequent Ludicrous know, that is saying something.
- What I learned today: rain will keep some pax away. I myself don’t post in the rain unless I am the Q. On the drive in I was thinking “we will have small numbers and it won’t be as good. we won’t have as much chatter or competition and such.” But you know what. It was still as good if not better. Here is why….
- Every post is different.
- Every pax is different.
- Therefore EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE.
- Don’t worry about how many people show. Worry about how you show for people.
Well said brother, very well said. It’s all about you showing up and doing your best every time. That becomes infectious in a good way.
