Mad Sci – Blocks, a naming and a FNG

Also in attendance today : Ashton (Popcorn's 2.0), FNG – David Haney, Steve (2nd Post) will forever be known as Homeboy

It was a cool morning, not cold so most of the PAX today were overdressed and had shed layers after the warm up!

We had special guests – Steve on his second post, David a FNG EH'd by Firestone, Popcorn's 2.0 and last but not least Sparky (Carpetbaggers dog)

This was my first Q since handing off the MQ reigns to Popcorn.  He is doing a great job and attendance and energy has been up since with his leadership!  T-claps Popcorn!  Great to see your 2.0 out in the gloom!!

Warm Up: Mosey around the building and circle up at the corner near the traffic light.  SSH, Wind Mill, Carrot Puller, Slow Squat and Step Ups (10 per leg).  It was here that I noticed our FNG – his form was impeccable on the steps ups and knew I needed to turn up the heat!

Run to the dungeon grab a block for the main event:  Simple but difficult!

The Thang:

20 block push ups; 20 block squats and 20 IC block flutter kicks

grab your block and carry it up or down the stairs.

5 Rounds and finish where you started

Mobility Minute (as always brought to you by Gnarly Goat)

Curls – 15 IC and put the blocks back

Bear Crawl up the first ramp and LBC until everyone is finished

** Called an audible because CG was getting out and too many cars ** Mosey out to the field for a simple suicide run turning at each lamp post

Editorial comment – the complaining and moaning that went on because we ran through wet grass and some dirt was surprising.  I remember a few years ago if you did not leave the workout muddy and wet it was not a good beatdown.

Exactly 6 minutes of Mary – round robin style

Moleskin

It was Steve's second post and he will forever more be known as Homeboy.  Look for Homeboy in the gloom and ask him where he from!

The morning was great fellas!  COVID has turned me into an overweight hermit and i need to visit the gloom and brotherhood more often. Hope you see you soon.  Popcorn thank you for the opportunity to lead this morning
