The unknown creates an opportunity to rise above and conquer our fears. Through F3 and its leadership, I have learned to challenge myself in new ways. This leadership has inspired me to make the decision to postpone workouts at Man Maker Monday until there is a clearer picture concerning the management of the spread of COVID-19.

What are my fears?

  • I’ll revert back to old habits
  • Lack of fellowship will result in return of the dull cloud that hung over me in the past
  • I’ll get out of shape (well worse shape, but round is a shape you know)
  • I’ll lose touch with others

These fears are an opportunity for me to challenge myself in new ways and become better.

Why Close Man Maker Monday (For now, we will be back)

  • I do not want to be responsible in any way for spreading this virus to anyone who may not be able to fight off this infection.

For this reason, the answer is an easy one to make; it is just going to be difficult to endure. I believe it is our civic duty to do everything in our power to protect our people. This is my minor contribution.

I am not overly talkative each morning and when I do speak, you probably cannot understand what I am saying because of my mumbling, out of breath soft-spoken voice. That said, my interactions with each of you, every morning fuel me each day. I want to keep that feeling alive.

How will I accomplish this?

  • Every Sunday night, I will post a preblast of a Kettlebell workout routine
  • Perform the workout at home at the designated time 5:30 am Monday morning.
  • Send a reply to the preblast through the website or through twitter and I will write up a backblast

This will enable us to do our part, stay in shape and say connected.

Thank you all for being a fantastic group of guys and keeping me focused on something more then self.
