Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged

I had my final practice as a coach of my 2.0’s volleyball team last night.  There were times that my intensity and desire to win got the better of me and I provoked.  Reflecting back I have to ask myself if I got the best out of each player.

And often sports relate to our daily lives. It’s our job to bring the best in others to light – family, friend, co-worker – and we do that by being the best person we can be.  This group brings out the best in me and for that I’m forever grateful.  Thank you for letting me lead this morning.

  • I learned a lot this morning, specifically the derivation of AIDS.  Please ask Zippy for details.
  • QT was a better place this morning as Mater has been on solid food since Monday and skipped taco Tuesday last night
  • Congrats to Marker whose daughter is graduating from ECU this weekend – travel safe brother!
  • Stiches caught on pretty quick that there was some sort of theme with the # of exercises
  • To put minds at ease, we did 3 exercises 17 times each (51) and we did 3 sets of 17 for each exercise (51)
  • Except 21’s – doing 51 21’s would make no sense
  • May Day 5/1 is better than mayday the distress call
