Memory Lane

This morning we converged Emmaus at Madelyn's so that we could spend time with Earl Grey and get some coffee before the doors to this chapter in his life are closed.

YHC took the opportunity, as I am moving on to another chapter myself, to venture down Memory Lane at my old stomping grounds. Here is how it all went down, to the best of my memory.

Mosey to what was formerly known as Launch Pad, but is now called Cowboy (new restuarant being built there)

Warm-o-rama (all in cadence)
SSH x 20
IST x 10
Windmill x 10
Mtn Climber x 10
1 Merkin

Thang:

Mosey to first set of bars for 10 decline merkins (5 on middle bar, 5 on top bar)

Mosey to next set of bars at Oakhurst entrance (10 dips, 10 single leg calf raises)

Mosey to square for a little 4 corners. Here are the corner exercises done once (5 merkins; 5 lbc; 5 carolina dry docks; 5 lbc's)

Parter up and carry partner 1/2 way up the grassy knoll by the pavilion. Switch half way and repeat.

Mosey to rock pile. 5 incline merkins

Rocks: 10 curls, 10 shoulder press, 1 skull crusher

Sprint to top of the hill.

Run to the hill in the dark by the power lines (only been there once, but it was memorable): run to top, 5 burpees, run (or penguin slide to bottom) for flutter kicks and airborne mind bender.

Run to playground. Some hacked their way through briers, while Jingle Bells found a much easier path.

Parkour on the playground.

Run to playground by the pool

Suicides then 10 pull ups.

Run to the big grassy hill on the way in from oakhurst.

Bear crawl to the top and do 1 burpee. Jail break to the finish. Swing State won by a long shot. He's so fast

MARY: (communal effort and I will probably forget who did what, but something like this)

Pillow Talk x 5 each side
Flutter Kicks x 5
Box Cutter x 5
Low Dolly x 5
Crunchy frog x 5
WWII Sit ups x 5
Jane Fonda x 5
Plank Jacks x 5
Dying Cockroach x 5
(maybe others)

MOLESKIN:

1) Thanks to everyone for coming out so early on this fine Friday morning. I had a blast remembering lots of great spots from my early days at Gladiator and Fission.

2) Sorry about the briers, Google maps made it look a lot clearer than it was. Come on Google!

3) This wasn't my last post, but I had a great time getting to Q one more time. Come out next Friday for my farewell ruck at Emmaus.
