A light rain began to fall as YHC headed West from the fartsack toward Fallout.  Little did YHC know that lightweights were falling from manhood at the same time.

To protect their identities, we won’t name the lightweights.  We’ll simply refer to them as “Brad and Jamie”.  Well apparently “Brad and Jamie” felt a raindrop or two and headed home prior to the Q’s arrival.  They must’ve run the standard first, right?  Well…  nevermind.

So now only MEN awaited in the gloom as YHC arrived, and knowing these were MEN, YHC knew a harsh strength-building workout would be appropriate.

6 pax including the Q would circle up for some warm-o-rama of the usual kind, then we would do what MEN do – we would lift things up and put them down.  Alot.

Using a combination of various size, shape and weight kettle bells along with cinder blocks (same size, shape and weight if you were wondering), the pax would get swole.

Plenty of pax coulda (and mighta) fartsacked today, but the pax who got up and got after it won’t regret it.

Great to work out with Scooter today – YHC thought he was just a coffeteria pax (and he likely thought the same about YHC).  Scooter will be Qing in no time.  He’s built for this.

T-claps to Drebin for coming out and working hard…  in a boot!  He’s almost healed up and will be running circles around the rest of us again in no time.

Turnpike might be afraid of spiders, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t show compassion toward them.  And speaking of insects, Scooter has an affection for large cockroaches too…

Gambini was pretty chipper today – this workout must’ve been a lot like his “garage AO”.

Thurs:  Head to Birkdale for the Turkey Trot for a 5K, or launch earlier for more miles, or keep an eye out for a PB from Enron for an alternative he might be cooking up at The Wilderness.

Fri:  Convergence at North Meck Park 0700 followed by beverages at Primal across the street 0800 (might be coffee and such there too?)

Next Fri:  The actual Christmas Party at 760 Brewery.

Prayers for family, relationships, fellowship, patience and safe travels this Thanksgiving.

And I am pleased and blessed to report that about 25 months ago my family  pulled together a plan for the biggest, best Thanksgiving at the beach for my mom who had just been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and given 12 months to live.  We would go on to celebrate a 2nd and now a 3rd Thanksgiving with her and how could I be any more thankful for her, for all the prayers from the pax and for time.  While we see the time is getting more and more precious we will continue to praise God for her and for every day we have with her, and for my amazing family and friends who lovingly joined me on this journey.
