Reflection:
In church we've been talking about the story of Samson. He was given great powers by God as long as he didn't break a few key "rules". Don't drink alcohol, don't cut your hair, don't touch a corpse, etc. The story goes on to tell how he routinely crossed the line and broke those rules, and when his powers remained, he never learned his lesson. Eventually he went too far, and his powers were stripped from him. We do the same thing ourselves. Tell a white lie, do something bad "just once", tell ourselves "it's ok every once in awhile". But really all we are doing is advancing that "line" a little further for us to cross the next time. Obviously our "rules" are a bit different than Sampson's but you get the point.
Moleskin:
– Dandelion shows up a full :10 late. See above Sam about "rules".
– Shirley is a BEAST. He just casually struts around during the runs as if he is toying with us. Then at the end he just "disappears" into the woods. (I think I am going to follow him next time to see if he is actually changes form)
– FNG 1 is Hooper, Sheredder's 2.0. Dude hung with us the whole time, killing the runs.
– Abrams made sure that he spread a fresh layer of sweat all over the parking lot since Florence had just washed away his past evidence.
– Blart blessed us with his presence at a rare F3 posting. We thanked him by calling him "small" and making multiple millenial comments throughout the hour.
– Gecko was only :5 late, but Sam was :10 late. You guys can drop the act and just show up together on your motorbike.
– Cheetah announced that he is back to his former svelte physique. Those merkins today are sure to add some lbs. though in your upper body again. Sorry.
– Great 2nd F after, with SVU far outnumbering Mustang given Mater's recent defection and Fabio's recent running habit.
