MMM Stuck On Naughty List


9 men descended on ManMakerMonday in hopes of bells ringing, but instead found themselves on the Naughty List, as evidenced by the exercises chosen.  The following ensued:

Warm-o-Rama (all In Cadence)

  • SSH x 15
  • Windmill x 10
  • Cotton Picker x 10
  • Mountain Climbers x 15
  • Mosey 1 Lap

The Thang:

YHC had a bucket containing 25 exercises — 13 Naughty and 12 Nice.  We went around the circle pulling out exercises, and if you pulled it you Q'd it.  The catch — if you drew an exercise labeled 'Naughty', we did the exercise, ran a lap around the parking lot, and then did it again.

  • Jiminy Crickets – 15 OYO (Naughty, Oyster)
  • KB Monkey Humpers – 15 I.C. (Naughty, Primo)
  • Horizontal Skull Crushers – 15 I.C. (Nice, Hat Trick)
  • KB Pickle Pounders – 15 I.C. (Naughty, Beetlejuice)
  • KB Swings – 30 OYO (Nice, Waffle House)
  • KB WW2 Situps – 15 I.C. (Naughty, Olive)
  • Upright Rows – 15 I.C. (Nice, Gray Ghost)

Moleskine:

  • Great work today by 9 men that certainly didn't expect that much running at a ManMaker workout!
  • Of the 12 exercises pulled, 12 were naughty and eight were nice;  Primo also pulled 8-Count Bodybuilders, which were naughty, but I audibled and asked him to pull another one, since we had already done the 30 star jump burpees and 30 Jiminy Crickets — That one would have killed us only 15 minutes into the workout!
  • Exercises not pulled (4 Naughty, 8 Nice): Naughty – Crazy Ivans, Hand Release Merkins, Sprints/Burpees, Zampirini; Nice – Bicep Curls, Chest Press, Bentover Rows, Sumo Squats, KB Lunges, KB Complex, KB LBC, Mosey 1 Lap
  • The KB Monkey Humpers and KB Pickle Pounders have probably been done before, but were unknown to me — hope you men enjoyed them!
  • Catfish made it for his first Manmaker workout — we hope to see you back (they're not all like that — usually we do more with the kettlebell!)
  • I was actually grateful we didn't pull a lot of exercises that used the KB — I grabbed Moses's stash of KBs from his garage, and passed out the 20, 25, and 30 and was left with the 35 lb. – more than I'm used to
