6 men met up on a wet Monday for some exercise and discussion of the flooding on Mountain Island Lake. Workout had to be cut short since there was work to do to save a dock from going down river.
Warm-o-rama:
Side Straddle Hop – 30 IC
Cherry Pickers – 20 IC
Toy Soldier – 15 IC
Meow Mix – 9 Merkins, 9 Plank Jacks, 9 CDD, 9 Mountain Climbers
Main Event: 9 Innings
Run to end of parking lot, and do 9 merkins IC, 9 LBCs IC, and 9 squats IC
Run back and do 1 Diamond Merkin IC, 1 Alternating Lunge IC, and 1 Rosalita IC
Run to end of parking lot and do 8 merkins IC, 8 LBCs IC, and 8 squats IC
Run back and do 2 Diamond Merkins IC, 2 Alternating Lunges IC, and 2 Rosalita IC
Repeat until you are down to 1 rep on first stop and 9 on the return stop
Skipped Mary as we were out of time and Mojito needed help with his dock.
Moleskin:
- Strong workout by all. Slow Roll pushed the pace on the runs, while Germinator kept Q honest with the count.
- Good work VIC 20 in racing with Tigre to see who ran the fastest.
- T-Claps for 911, Germinator and Double Double who helped me with the dock in the morning and to Slow Roll and Tigre who came in the afternoon to help as well. I am happy to say that the boat was saved and we have secured the dock until we can get someone to fix it.
- It was an honor to lead the workout. But more importantly, I appreciate the brotherhood and support in helping me with the challenges caused by the flooding.
