Moleskin:

  • Strong showing by the pax today!  Pun intended…
  • Boat launch parking lot turns into Muscle Beach on Weds ams.  Ton of weights out there today, iron was pumping or being pumped.
  • FIA has nothing on us, they are very impressed by our gymnasium!
  • Pax impressed by Natty's Ocho de Enero finish with the 64 burpees, feeling it today.  David Goggins doesn't have anything on this pax, lmao
  • Slow Roll definitely recommends the book by David Goggins, Can't Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds.   For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare — poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a U.S. Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events, inspiring Outside magazine to name him "The Fittest (Real) Man in America."
  • Everyone on the dry January train seems to be fairing well.  Some thought that they feel a lot better, some are sleeping better, some are being more productive, some are having dreams!  Apparently wearing a weighted vest to a workout can lead to dreaming that one was wearing a Taliban suicide vest and getting locked up…
  • No dreams about El Tigre's soon to be weight lifter's legs?  LOL!
  • Proud of Krugerrand and Encino Man!  You guys are steady and doing great!  Keep it up fellas!
  • Great work gentlemen, always an honor!
