  • Thunder Club was so far ahead of the rest of us that we started LBC's without him – the rest of us needed them more than him!
  • Mater hurt his neck doing incline merkins – demo please – he was hoping a session of BBBroga would erupt at 5:30 – hope to see you tomorrow at 6:30
  • Sparrow was doing his best to speed up Mary by speeding up cadence
  • Motion to rename Boucher to Bondo Bouch – car looks great
  • Thrift Shop fell for the oldest trick in the book – 'who is going to be here Weds, can you grab the flag, how about you grab the Q?'  THIS MEANS WE HAVE A VQ on 10/7
  • YHC thought that Broke was actualy named Bro – for some reason I thought it was related to The Big Lebowski. Q Fail, my bad, way off there – 4 daughters, lord help you sir!
  • Finkle made it clear there would be no 'OH BERTHA' today…..saving it up for tomorrow
  • Styx was too far ahead of YHC so someone else will have to fill in some of his classic one-liners
  • Crabby Patty, after reading this, will feel the pressure for his VQ and will step up soon, call it a premonition.

Reflection

As stated in the Pledge of Allegiance, we are 'One nation, under God, indivisible'.  Our children say this every day in school.  We need to represent this for them by showing grace to each other.  No matter what political affiliation we have, the country is ours to share and we need to leave it in a good place for generations to come.

1 Peter 4:10 – As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace

In addition to prayers for our great country, please keep Mater's father Ben and Sparrow's son Ross in your prayers.

Pleasure to lead this morning.  Namaste Aye, Bertha
