Natty’s Pit

Event Date

May 08, 2018

Four wrasslers from parts unknown, weight unknown came out on a Tuesday in order to take a visit to Natty’s Pit. The beatdown that ensued was eerily similar to the feeling one gets when being surprised walloped with a coconut across the forehead.

  • You always find your way back to the classics

  • Q wearing an official Rowdy Roddy Piper “Hot Rod” shirt for todays workout seemed a tad excessive

  • One word during exercising can change everything about the workout. That word today was “whee!”

  • Pax also learned how to take a bump today.Taking a bump is professional wrestling terminology for taking a fall. Taking a bump well is a key factor in how good of a wrestler a person is to become. A good bump is also a key factor in the longevity of a wrestler's career. Taking bad bumps can cause a fair amount of damage to the body

  • Unlike the padding in the squared circle, the asphalt at The Quarry was not very forgiving. Bad bumps. Kinda lIke the PTSD that ensured from the infamous inflatable sumo wrestling F3 tournament

  • You got some ‘chit on your ‘chirt meng

  • Q finished first in the “Masters Clydesdale” division in a sprint triathlon this past Saturday.Or as my daughter retells it, I won the “fat old guys” division.“Master” is tri code for being over 40 and “Clydesdale” is tri code for weighing over 220 pounds.Q is comfortably beyond both of these lines of demarcation.

  • That said, the F3 regimen helped provide some needed fuel to the finish

  • Great work men!
