Warm-o-Rama
Dynamic stretching platter. Mosey a block and do Basketball drill, Toy Soldier and Strawberry pickers
The Thang
Part – Mosey to upper park for one lap of the Ricky Bobby and/or the Ricky Bobby 100
-10 Burpees (bookend)
-20 Jump squats
-20 Mercans
-20 Freddie Mercuries
-20 Mountain climbers
-10 Burpees (bookend)
Do one lap around the block, with a sprint option for the last block length
Part 2 –
Mosey to park benches, and do the following timed exercises with 20 seconds on and a 10 second rest.
-Decline Mercans
-Left legged step ups
-Incline Mercans
-Right legged step ups
-Dips
-Alternating leg step ups (ground too wet for two legged box jumps)
-Bench crunches
We did these four times
Mary
Buncha timed ab exercises for 30 seconds each
Moleskine
-Humidity levels were extra thick and moist this am
-Just Q and the Nipper today. We definitely covered some ground
-Recollections of the back end straightaway on the Ricky Bobby seemed to be a bit faster. Chalk it up to this just being a training lap for a future installment
-English words can’t accurately describe last weeks music bender in VA and NY. Good times indeed
-Top Gun: Maverick on the docket for both families entertainment today before it leaves the theaters
-Since it was a neighborhood beautification tour, you would think Q would have grabbed some refuse along the way. I finally did, but was disappointed that the discarded beef jerky bag treasure in fact had no remaining jerky
-Overlook Hurricanes are your 2022 YB-Dry swim team champions. Not that anybody is keeping score, and winning isn’t everything, but OL has failed to win the championship only once in the 20+ year history of the league.
-Kids heading to college in less than a month. Oh Lordy, but it sure will be fun to watch
