We had 10 for a steamy tour through MacAuley and Birkdale. Our little loop took us 4.5 miles and despite the sticky conditions all seemed to be enjoying themselves for the most part.
We did hear tales of swarms of flies attacking runners earlier this week however we encountered no such pests. I figure you can keep the PAX safe by staying in the burbs. Most dangerous thing we saw was a couple bikers and dog walkers.
