The Ultimate was also in attendance but not on the website. YHC got together with The Force yesterday to plan a co-q that would be reflective of the day and still be a worthy beatdown. We accomplished that goal. This is what happened:

The main event

The firefighters rushing into the tower to save people made it to the 78th floor. DPK parking garage doesnt have 78 floors. However, they do have 2 stairwaysm which was perfect to break into 2 groups of 5 and begin our workout in the stairways. The groups did 78 walking curls up and down the flights of stairs for the 1st exercise. The groups then did 78 Overhead Press for the 2nd exercise. That was a shoulder smoker, espeially after IPC this week. The 2 groups met in the parking lot for The Force to take over the Q. He led us to the Memorial Park doing 9 walking curls, 9 Skull crushers, then 11 walking curls & 11 skull crushers.Then bells up and to the memorial.  Up onto the stage. Check out the flags.

The Pax was very relective and near silent in the stairways, as well as at the memorial. Mumble Chatter is always encouraged, but today it was collectively silenced to honor and reflect.

I appreciate The Force co-leading the workout today. Go into today remembering the tragedy, but also the hope and unity of the country which sprang from that day*merica*
