The disclaimer was said, and the PAX moseyed to the edifice at the entrance of Birkdale then back to the starting point to pickup Camelback; always a minute late with his shoes untied. He may not be punctual, but he is consistent and we sure as heck love having him out.
Parked near by was Carpetbaggers truck. And to the PAX surprise he had brought toys in the form of 25 lb plates. They thought since the cinder blocks were taken away during the pandemic cleanup, that lifting things was off the plate. But little did they know they were still going to have an opportunity to lift heavy things.
With little time wasted, the PAX paired off and we walked over to the fountain / Christmas tree bench area for Warmarama and our workout.

Resilience (noun) re-sil-ience
“… the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress – such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems or workplace and financial stressors.” Source: American Psychology Association
How do you plan on bouncing back from difficult experiences?
Do you have the support structure i.e. family, friends, brotherhood to help you through?
Are you willing to speak openly and share your concerns, thoughts, and feelings while seeking guidance from others when needed?
I sure as heck know that I have a tough time asking for assistance from others and worst of all I have a difficult time admitting when I’m in over my head.
Today, I am not in crisis. I am very blessed and fortunate to be gainfully employed and my family is thriving.
It may sound trite but the brotherhood of F3 has made a huge difference in my life and I want to thank everyone of you for all that you do. And even though you do not know it, each of you has had an impact in my life for the better. I am thankful every day to have you gentlemen in my life and that I get to call you friends.
Always feel strong in who you are no matter the circumstance and know that the you are never alone.
Having resilience is NOT a one man activity.
Excelsior.
