So I slacked a bunch when it came to Qing towards the end of last year, in fact the last one before this one was another Dragon Slayer. The morning was chilly but felt pretty good once we got moving.
Warm UP:
– we jogged down to the pull up area
– SSH
– CP
– TS
– Some yoga like stuff
– 5 Burpees
GAME ON:
– 10 pull ups, 20 merkins, 10 pull ups
– 15 squats, 20 merkins, 10 burpees
– jogged back to starting point, 5 burpees
– grabbed the KB for curls. 1st round was to failure (i told them only one round but lied), moved one bell to left. Some bells are stupid heavy
– Shoulder Press till failure, one bell left and 20 more reps, 1 left and 20, 1 left and 20,
– KB swings x 20, then 1 left x 20, 1 left and 20 more
– run to 2nd light and 10 burpees, run back
– grabbed jump ropes and teamed up. partner 1 jumped rope for 1 min and partner 2 did curls for 1 min
– P1 jump rope for 1 min, P2 squats (studs like Bam Bam need the KB b/c it was to easy)
– P1 jump rope 1 min, P2 shoulder press 1 min
– run to 1st light then 5 burpees, run to 2nd light x burpees and run back.
MARY:
– Pretezel Crunch x 10 each side,
– touch them heels x 10
– mason twist x 10
– LF x 20
Q's Take:
My biceps were so sore it has taken me a few days to post this, at least that is my excuse. Plus the entire workout was made up on the fly so it took me a few days to recall it.
Scrappy is the perfect name for Scrappy he is just quick and fast
I never feel like it is a good work out b/c Qbert is always casually chatting away like it is so easy.
Great to work out with Hootie and Ty Webb, I don't seem to bump in to them much.
Bunyan was happy to hear how young Hootie was because it observed how smooth and easy Hootie made Burpees look.
Vinegar Bend was the best partner a Q could have, maybe because we are almost the same size??
