Well, Omega was down on the calendar to Q Java today. Apparently he didn’t check his own calendar as he may be out of town. So 5 men were standing around in front of Birkdale Starbucks waiting…….
One of those men was Mulligan, who had a big grin on his face because he wasn’t the guilty person this time! Don’t worry yours truly took the help and led us into the gloom.
Run to Fleet feet for warmarama where a very detailed disclaimer was given. We did side straddle hops, imperial storm troopers, long snappers. We had to check out Sromboli as his Garmin was already calling 911 thinking he was in an accident……
Run behind the theater on the greenway, avoiding the deer and rabbits, to the entrance of Caesar’s neighborhood for our first pain station for merkins and little baby crunches.
I then gave the pax the option to keep going on greenway to the end or run over to the park. Stromboli picked the park and Mulligan agreed so we didn’t have to do the sucky hill at the end of the greenway. So instead we ran up a different sucky hill so we could get to Robbins Park where we did incline perkins and Rosa Litas.
Our next segment was running over to Elevation church for wide merkins and Freddy Mercuries.
The pax was much too eager (or none at all) to start running again so we mosied to the fountain on 73 for diamond merkins (the easy ones) and little baby crunches.
The last segment was all the way to home base where Mulligan finally decided to start running and blew us all away. The kid just couldn’t help it knowing he was close to the finish.

It was great to see Soprano back at it today! He did modify using his stretchy band thingies instead of doing merkins.
Speaking of Soprano, we aren’t used to him complaining but he did point out the temp dropped a good bit a we were headed back to the greenway….. and he was right!
Strong running by everyone. While we started out cold we were all burning up by the end!

PS… since the calendar was open for Java next Thursday we have signed Omega up to Q it. Maybe he will show up this time????
