I saw that Mulligan has posted a PB at about 10pm the night before so even with rain in the forecast I figured things were still a go. 

Upon arrival I was confused, had I read something wrong. Mulligan went out of his way to say Starbucks at Birkdale. I then saw one other car arrive so I figured sad clown was off the table. Then at 0530 exactly Lone Star, per usual, came flying in. 

We waited about 5 minutes to see if Mulligan would show and then we just started with a warm up. Lone Star took point and we ran around a few of the garages for most of the first mile before we decided we could endure a little rain. 

We then headed out into the gloom and ended up running 3 miles with some mild pain stations inserted.

Apparently Mulligan went to Dragon Slayer to check out the new location completely forgetting he was the Q at Java and had sent a PB just hours before. How many drinks had he had that night…I think that’s the question we need to ask.
