Pulling up at 8:53 and seeing only Shaken, I began to worry. Then checked Twitter to see that there was no PB sent (My bad). No really worried. But then out of the gloom comes…..Kachow. No Rodeo, No problem. Q by committee was agreed upon and we launched.
Warmorama:
- Laps around concrete jungle
- SSH X 25
- Windmill X 10
- Long Snapper X 10
Main Thang:
1st Q – Firestone:
- Mosey to parking lot hill half way to the circle for 7's.
- Burpees at bottom for 1 and Jump Squats at top for 6. Up and down hill till flip flops. Quadrophilia every other trip up the hill.
- Mosey to the circle for more 7's.
- Side 1 CDD's for 1
- Side 2 Air Squats for 6
- Run to each side until flip flops.
- Hand off
2nd Q – Kachow:
- Run alllll the way back to the blocks
- Kachow unhappy with the pace decided to get ahead and get blocks out for us.
- 3 rounds of Dora
- Curls with lunges to first island and run back. Combined 300
- Skull crushers with run to 1st island, 5 burpees, and run back for 300
- Block swings with run to island 10 WWII's and run back for 200
3rd Q – Shaken not stirred:
- Mobility moment
- 11's with Mericans and monkey humpers in parking lot length between islands.
Shaken and YHC run another 2 tenths of a mile to get over 3 miles in. Recover Recover.
Notables:
- YHC shamed Rodeo into taking the Q and he got me back apparently. YHC should have reminded Rodeo and noticed that no PB went out. Cobains and a failure as MQ.
- We thought maybe that a figure coming out of the gloom was Rodeo, but it was Kachow running in as usual.
- Great to see Shaken not Stirred. It's been a minute.
- Kachow is always a stud.
- Lots of running getting in over 3 miles.
- Lots of injured jungle folks and lots of runners at the Tuna.
- I like the Q by committee angle. It always works out great.
