FNG-1 is newly named Whisky Foxtrot, FKA Jerry

Answering the SOS call from Possum to take the Q b/c of a rolled ankle, YHC was thrilled to find no rain and 7 pax waiting to go this fine Saturday morning.  Possum, concerned there might be a Q No-Show, was found keeping an eye on the activities to make sure protocol was followed at every step.  

We took a quick trip over the Broadway for a stay-dry warm-up

Over at the playground we did 3 rounds of Australian pull-ups and decline ‘Mericans (10 each time)

We moseyed down to the rocks near the track for The Curl, Slow Squat and Bent over row

Leaving our rocks for future use, we took one lap on the track.  Next we split up for step-ups and jump-squats (15 and 25 respectively)

Another 1/2 lap led us to the stairway to heaven where we jumped to the top, 7 ‘Mericans, forward down for 10 squats, hop to the top for 6’ Mericans, forward down for 10 squats, etc.

We then finished the lap and hit the 2nd round of step-ups and jump squats

Returning to our rocks, we hit a second round of curls, squats and bent over rows.  Having returned them, we found a little more dry area near the (smelly) bathrooms where some MARY was enjoyed by all.

Next we moseyed over to the Bailey Road sidewalk for a rim-to-rim of: forward down, backward up, 7 Parker-‘Mericans, forward down and backward to the opposite rim for 6 Parker-‘Mericans.  the goals was 5,4,3,2,1.  But we ran out of time.

We went to COT where we had a final go of Low Hover (not previously mentioned) and Rcover X 2.

1. Heal up soon, Possum, and thanks to Airstream for assessing Possum’s injury.  It’s nice to have a pro along side.

2. Jersey Boy wisely encouraged us to consider donating to assistance of the victims of the earthquakes in Turley and Syria.  Good advice as we take som much for granted.

3. On March 11 there will be a workout at Smithville Park so we can help spread mulch at the Cornelius Community Garden
