Fortunately, YHC’s neighbor Happy Gilmore had texted his interest the night before so YHC could rest comfortably last night knowing there would be no sad clown Q…. You see where this is going, right?
As YHC exited the driveway, Happy’s house was dark and the Bronco was not running. YHC was concerned…
But alas – as YHC would reach the final traffic signal entering the AO, Bob Ross’ sedan was directly in front and YHC all would be ok.
Admittedly, YHC began thinking of audibles to make the workout more enjoyable for a pax of two (said differently – how could YHC make this easier), but then we would see and almost hear Elmer’s electric jeep (a real one – not the kid version we all longed for as a child) rolling in immediately followed by Snake Eyes. As we gathered as a Wolfpax of 4, another vehicle would come screamin’ in and Rooter would make it a Wolfpax of 5.
Disclaimer, grab blocks and zamp Dow the track a bit. From there we’d begin a warmup but YHC is now realizing we skipped any real aspect of a warm-o-rama. We’d just dig in from there.
We worked arms, hit hills, created some artificial competition and shared in intense strategic planning. The rest is classified.
We’d end with two full rounds of MWAR then a full 60 second elbow plank before recover-recover.
The Moleskine Fallout:
Don’t know what Elmer’s ate last night but hope he feels better after some coffee and morning activity.
We confirmed that if given the opportunity to call cadence Snake Eyes will slide in the Shoulder Touch Merkins, but if given multiple opportunities…. He might not.
We also confirmed with 100% agreement this is a fantastic AO with so much to offer.
Bob Ross was my partner and on the only team of more than 1 today… and we killed it. Proof that when you have an accountability partner you’ll push harder!
Awesome to work out with Rooter today. It’s been too long but is great to see that healthy beast getting after it!

Since the QvQ final is an all tarheel final, I’m just putting out there that 4/10 is a Wednesday and Wednesday is a Ludicrous Speed AO day and Luda is always a majority Wolfpax. Plan accordingly. And since your opponent likely won’t read this BB, you have an edge with this info.
