Not even one of the 3 MQs were here

Just teasing the MQs of course. Sometimes the MQ can’t make it. Sometimes three of the MQs can’t make it. Life finds a way.

FNG-1 is Kool-Aid. I understand he’s a Stanley NC native. Maybe he works this way? Glad to have you nonetheless sir!

ATLAS WAS HERE TODAY! Atlas has been maximizing the kotter role but decided it was time to revisit F3. Before the workout he briefed me on what’s been going on during his absence, his committment to the 75 Hard Challenge, and the two numbers that he holds a little more special than the average person.

So yeah, I preblasted a non-running workout today and much to my surprise had 12 PAX show up for it. NON-RUNNERS UNITE! That said, when I suggested we mosey towards the concession stand for a warm up, I heard Blackbeard complain.

Mosey to the vehicles for Mary

Mary

We did a circle of Mary. From what I can recall, we did

  • 1 min Plank
  • Gas Pumper (This is a classic. Basically you are working out a burp from your bunghole.)
  • Crunchy Frog
  • Rosalita
  • There were other things too, like 7 more. I’m 49 and so what if I can’t remember now. I’ll remember them at 3 AM tomorrow.

Moleskin

  • Thanks to my brothers for coming out. I anticipated maybe 2 PAX but got 12. ?(*´?`*)? ?
  • Primo ran the Standard

Age Stats for Nerds

  • Mean: 48.5 (average of the recorded ages)
  • Median: 48 (age in the middle of those recorded)
  • Mode: 46 (age that occurred the most)
  • Max: 56 (highest age)
  • Min: 40 (lowest age)
  • Count: 13 (count of pax)
  • Standard Deviation: 5.12535 (square root of the average “distance” each age had from the mean)
  • Kurtosis: -1.06986 (indicates how “tailed” the data, i.e., are there outliers or extreme values in the tails.)
    • We’re definitely platykurtic (flattish at the top, kinda like a plateau)
  • Skewness: -0.06126 (describes the asymmetry of the data with respect to the mean, i.e., are we leaning left or right in a normal distribution.)
    • Today’s skewness is barely negative. In fact, I had to go back and compare to all of the past workouts and this data set is my least skewed of all time. Thanks Atlas!
