20 Pax at The Sword today, including regulars from other AOs that kindly converged (Arnie’s Army, Titan, and Gambini’s OTB Swole garage workout). It went something like this:
Turnpike first.
WARM-O-RAMA + disclaimer given. Partner up for:
- Push blocks across / Lunge walks
- Flip flop
- Wheelbarrow walk
- Flip flop
- Combine the ideas! Wheelbarrow block push! Meh…not every idea is a keeper. That also served as a free Q lesson. #wisdom
- OH block press / elbow plank
- Flip flop
- Jump over your block / elbow plank
- Flip flop
- Combine the ideas! Block burpees with a jump over your block / elbow plank
- Flip flop
Partners run in opposite directions, meet and do 5 Burpees. Repeat-o with 4, 3, 2, and 1.
Hand off to Mr. Tammy Faye
Some stretching.
Parter 1 does: 5 pull-ups, 10 Dry docks, 15 squats, 20 Mericans. Partner 2 runs. Flip flop.
Repeato that ^ idea but with: 5 Burpees, 10 jump squats, 15 jump lunges (each leg!), 20 Mericans. Mosey towards the Church walls by the basketball hoops.
Partner 1 does 20 dips, 20 incline Mericans, then walk sits while partner 2 runs.
Flip flop.
Repeat-o.
On the 2nd iteration, Tammy Faye graciously baked in time to return the blocks. That’s an integrity move right there!

- One vote YHC probably did not get: Troll. He works in asphalt and we really disrespected it today!
- Good to meet Swiftie today. I don’t care what people think, I’m a Swiftie too.
- Chose Toxic as a partner because I knew he’d do all the dumb and questionable things!

Good one today gents, hard to pick a winner. Very little pandering to the soft, just 45 minutes of elevated heart rate.
Agree with Gambini – both Qs brought the heat for a full 45 minutes of brutal beat-down.
How did I not even notice Turnpike’s shameless vote-buying shirt today? Gives me a great idea though – I’ll be wearing my Polar Bear gear in hopes of winning Freedom and 9-Lives’ votes later this week when I go up against Hippie who obviously already knows all the tricks in buying votes!
