NOT IronPaxChallenge – Inspired by FLG

9 men showed up cringing that they might see more IPC fun, however that was not the case.  YHC got inspired by Finger Lickin' Good's 1 mile tire flip that took 1hr 55min that he saw on Strava.  Determining it illogical to try to tire flip for a full hour, what better way to mix things up than with a good old fashioned Tabata.  So be it…

Mosey to Block pile and grab said block.  Meet at the pull-up bars.  Start the music and the Tabata app and go!

Thang:

Moleskin:

– Tabata app says Exercise for 2 minutes, then it says "Rest."  PAX didn't appreciate that Rest = Mosey.  But then they started to realize that it was definitely better than what we were doing.

– Bit of a mathematical equation to get pairs set up and started – so we actually rotated thru Rd 1-4, then Rds 5-8.  Also, YHC's printer didn't work so there was no signage for reference.

– Said mathematical equation slowed things down so we skipped the Mosey between last 3 exercises

– Most wondered why we haven't utilized the tires more often.  Some distant memory of back injuries but all made it out alive.

– 2 minutes of pull-ups without stopping is just silly.  Nobody does that…

– 2 minutes of Flutterkicks sounds easier than it is – it take a full 120 seconds

– Boucher thinks all metal songs are played by Metallica.  If you want to make him smile, play Beastie Boys

– Attendance was a little light so hope all Stangers are well and back at it this week.  For those that think golf is a sanctioned exercise (excuse to miss F3)… you are mistaken… sinner.
