Eight men made it out on an unseasonably cool July morning to learn from the special guest Q they didn’t deserve, but clearly needed. Long story short, everyone in attendance got what they needed.

Indian Run all the way around the block, with a sprint option for the last block length. We did this four times.

Impressive pre-workout shift by both Mojito and Golddigger who showed up separately to run a bunch of miles before we started at 7.

Golddigger is 22 years old, just graduated from UNCG, is going to be a real teacher (ie, not just a substitute teacher) at South Meck in the fall, is engaged to be married in December, and is not currently living in sin with his fiancé. And based on the sprints, he also has really young and fast legs

Some interesting and unsolicited relationship advice was shared by the assembled veterans in attendance. Could not possibly capture all of these gold nuggets but it included words to the effect of 1) getting an early ruling that dry humping is not cheating, 2) staying true to yourself and not letting her try and change you and 3) stop trying after two years and just rely on relationship intertia. The fact is, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. These guys are definitely some kinda characters when there are newbies in attendance, and even when there aren’t.

Pinky first introduced the Q to F3, and I have tried to follow in the ways and properly honor the Jedi master who is always able to deal a good beatdown
