Was sitting with Bagboy and Sauce last week and they mentioned a workout called the Michigan that I had never heard of, let alone done. They were both complaining about how awful it was, so naturally I started brainstorming about how to make it worse and arrived at The Ohio, which is simply doing the Michigan in reverse. Standard warmup + Bam bams to start, then moseyed to the Davidson track for The Thang itself:
2 x 20yd sprints, pause the sprinting for 10 burpees after 2nd rep
4 x 40yd sprints, pause the sprinting for 10 burpees after the 2nd and 4th rep
6 x 60yd sprints, pause the sprinting for 5 burpees after the 2nd, 4th, and 6th rep.
8 x 80yd sprints, pause the sprinting for 5 burpees after the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th rep.
10 x 100yd sprints, pause the sprinting for 2 burpees after the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th rep. The Pax were spared the last rep of burpees by giving max effort on the last sprint.
As a cool down we did one rep to the top of the stadium followed by one set of Australin pullups, AMRAP.
Mosey back to the Green for Superman until Recover Recover. Met up with those Revolting runners for COT.
