It's official, winter has arrived with a vengence, but that did not stop 7 brave PAX and YHC from busting out of the warm fartsack and getting better this morning. A few of us rucktards met earlier for a little warm-up and quickly realized that 16 degree weather makes your face freeze and YHC should be mindful of the time…of the real workout – here's how it went down…

THE THANG
Mosey to track for AFPT (armed forces PT Test) – since I fartsacked HTL training on Monday, I believed the PAX deserved a good ole' fashion PT test that consisted of 2-min mericans, 2-min situps and in our case 3-laps around the track (audible from the Q since my back was not so good). However, a couple of pax did an extra credit lap to stay warm.

- I dont care what Willard Scott says…16 degrees is freakin' cold. Note to self and others – IronClad winter gloves dont work when it is this cold #numbfingershurt
- The PAX had the pleasure of witnessing some first time events in a workout – the first was Tantrum running slow and Kumquat not finishing first on a run!
- We also learned that 2-mins of anything is a really long time…pace yourself gentlemen
- Strong work from all the PAX this AM
- It was an honor to lead this group of men this morning. Apologies for not being at 100% fighting strength – make up Q is already in the works
