8 PAX, including 2 – 2.0s, gathered at Bailey Rd. Park Saturday to compete in the IsotopeOG Olympics with the promise of no Zika virus. The promise was fulfilled, however, the PAX failed to realize YHC (Q) was essentially the Captain of the Russian Olympic Committee. Let the cheating… I mean games begin!
Opening Ceremony – Mosey to basketball courts for a few minutes of Warm-o-rama as a group
PAX were separated into 2 teams of 4. Russian Team and World Team
Track & Field – Relay Races (losing team penalized with 15 Burpees)
First Race – Sprint Relays – Russian Team wins by wide margin
Second Race – Backwards Run Relays – Russian Team wins by even wider margin
Third Race – Bear Crawl Relays – Russian Team lets World Team win to cover up potential "fixing"
Golf – Frisbee Variety
10yd shots and sprints to frisbees after shots.
If your team makes and other team misses, the other team does 5 Burpees
If both shooters make, both teams, excluding shooters, do 5 Burpees
If both shooters miss, both shooters do 5 Burpees.
Final count is that the Russian team did far fewer Burpees than the World team.
Finished with an alternate shot Frisbee Golf hole. Losing team completes 15 Burpees. Again, Russian team takes Gold.
Basketball – 2pt, 3pt and 5pt half-court shots (losing team penalized with 10 Burpees)
2mins to score as many points as possible while other team performs an exercise. 2 rounds
Apparently the Russian team has not been practicing how to rig this game. They lost both rounds.
World Team dominated with strategy and the smallest PAX (Caped Crusader) scoring 80% of the points.
Finished with a dunk contest. Full disclosure the rim was approximately set at 7ft. Regardless, PAX should probably put more effort into hopping abilities.
Closing Ceremony – Games were concluded and PAX headed back for COT.

The Count apparently learned how to play ball in WV from Jerry West. Baller!

After conclusion of the games, it was discovered that all PAX from the Russian team actually originate from Ohio. It is now apparent why the took home the Gold since Ohioans just know how to win championships!
I had a blast today and hope the other PAX did as well. A solid workout while being competitive and a good amount of comedic 2nd F. This is what being in the gloom is all about. I encourage everyone to EH a buddy and let them experience what we already enjoy.
