“Pain at the Cain” and Primo Says “I can’t go for that”

An old “Hall and Oates”

A Young “Hall and Oates”

The Drifters

The pre-blast coined this workout “Pain at the Cain” and it went down something like this.

9 bad-a** warriors joined YHC for this morning’s festivities, which included 1-FNG, while 3 Mall Walkers (Canuck, Blackbeard, and Kumquat) were also actively out and about. Great seeing Mark who joined us in the parking lot pre-workout for his first post, apparently hearing about F3 from others and found Fission on the website – hoping to have him back for a naming.

At the end of a brief warm-a-rama, YHC provided logistics for traveling over to the nearby Cain Center for a little “Pain at the Cain”. Before moseying and while holding plank position, a trivia question was offered up to the PAX related to an upcoming performance on January 19 by a very well known (and very old) band from the 50’s, 60’s, and early 70’s. To avoid burpees, PAX would have to provide the correct answer and were visibly shaken as many of the PAX, including Primo started burppes as soon as the question was asked. Noone got the correct answer of “The Drifters” and noone seemed to give a darn that the show has already sold out both nights. After moseying over to the Food Lion Parking Lot, another trivia question was provided to avoid burpees. What famous male singer from a very well known (maybe the most well known) male duet split from his parnter due to legal issues and will also be performing at the Cain Center? Primo nailed the answer and yes, John Oates at 77 years old will be performing live at the Cain Center later this year. Get your tickets now as this will be epic.

PAX managed to due admirable work once arriving at the Cain Center by doing ascending and descending ladders of lunges, jump squats, Carolina Dry Docks, and LBCs at each end of the hill.

We ended with a couple minutes of MARY.

It was a fine morning and great start to the day. A well attended coffeeteria as our faithful Water Wings PAX of Omaha, Shake, and Kosar joined us as well!

Always a privilege and honor to lead.

Great seeing Canuck and Blackbeard arriving just in time for our closing prayer, while Kumquat joined us for coffeteria at the end of his mall walk/run.
