THE BURPEE
Naked Man Moleskin:
So many memories and thoughts for 6 years:
– Moses and Ludi never actually had their varying distance running races we debated, and wagered, at the initial workouts who would win – Ludi has some serious wheels for shorter distances. Would still like to see it
– If you bet any one of the other original 5 OG's back in the day that I would run in the Blue Ridge Relay not once, but (hopefully) twice, you could have won some serious Cash!
– Most dreaded F3 sound – Gnarly Goat's watch alarm
– Best exercise invention – also Gnarly Goat – Airborne Mind-bender
– Favorite Nickname I bestowed – I have a lot of favorites, but Snake Eyes rates at or near the very top. M-16 – don't bring a bow to a gunfight – is pretty close
– Best F3 scenery – the girls who stripped down to bra and panties next to us after the 2nd Mud run in the shower, wasn't sure I had actually seen that until Moses confirmed it.
– Hardest workout – still the 1/2 mile of Broad Jumps Primo had us do in one of the first workouts, although Moses and I doing yoga alone and trying to match him is a close second. Dude is seriously flexible.
– Exercise we did at beginning we've never really repeated – pushing Jacob Bonen-Clark's car up the street and back in front of Moses' house
– Early pax I miss the most – easily Ludi. Was my partner for more fireman carries than I care to remember
– Best Nantan – tie – we've been blessed to have 3 great ones. Thanks for all you have done Moses, MiniMe and Jolly Roger
– Inventor of worst new exercises – hands down MiniMe Monkey Humpers remain stupid looking and relatively useless with high risk of injury. Otherwise, they are great.
I could go on, but have to get to the hospital. I want to sincerely thank everyone that has participated in F3 over these past 6 years. In my adult life, you are some of the finest people I have had the privilege to know, you inspire me and make me a better person and I thank you.
Aye,
Outlaw
